Situated on the grounds of St. Luke's Episcopal Church (www.stlukeslaunion.com ), La Casa De La Paz is less than two miles from Canutillo, Texas and ten miles from El Paso. Interstate 10 is just four miles east of the church, which provides easy access for all visitors. To the east are the beautiful Franklin Mountains, which can be seen through the picture window of the retreat center. To the west are fields of cotton, onions and chili peppers. Crossing the Rio Grande on the way, one can see horses, buffalo and alpaca ranches. The retreat center is a self-contained house that served as the home of many of St. Luke's clergy over the years. The house can sleep twelve and as many as 25 can comfortably meet during the day for conferencing and discussion. With four bedrooms, two full baths, a living room, dining room, a large conference room, complete kitchen and laundry facilities, La Casa De la Paz offers the quiet and solitude that many desire.
